Welcome to the University Colorectal Cancer Center Magdeburg. Every year, half a million people in Germany are newly diagnosed with cancer. More than 70,000 patients are diagnosed with cancer of the colon and rectum.

Colorectal cancer affects people of all ages. The causes are still not fully understood. A better understanding of colorectal cancer leads to more successful treatments and increases the chances of a cure.

We have therefore brought together all the experts at the hospital in the Magdeburg University Colorectal Cancer Center. Because we know that together, we can make a remarkable difference in medicine.

We close the knowledge gaps and interface between research and colorectal cancer treatment. All globally available methods of diagnostics are applied in order to be able to precisely detect each disease. Based on this, we derive the best therapy for you. We have no blanket concepts. You, as a patient, as a family member, as a general practitioner or as a colleague, are always at the center of our concern. We want to find the best answer for your specific medical condition, independent of restrictions of the German health and billing system, independent of repeated lawsuits and waivers.
